Downloads

Firmware, source code, 3D files and the printable manual.

Questions

Before you buy or build.

Do I need to solder?

No. Every connection uses plug-in jumper wires.

What age is it for?

14 and up, or younger with an adult. The kit has small parts.

Can I change the faces?

Yes. The firmware is open source; the guide shows how to draw your own expressions.

Troubleshooting

Something not working? Start with these.

The screen stays black

Check that SDA and SCL are not swapped and that VCC goes to 3.3 V.

A leg shakes or buzzes

The servo is not centered. Repeat step 1, then refit the leg pointing straight down.

The robot resets when it walks

The power supply is too weak. Use a 5 V adapter rated 2 A or more.
